Ah ... the contouring! A gesture definition facial practiced by makeup artists for years and which was made popular with the US in particular by Kim Karkashian. This "method" foundation makeup is still fairly uncommon but fans of makeup are already tried it. Spring 2015 marks the height of contouring as all brands are getting into if you have a look at Sephora, you will see that you will be spoiled for choice! So I decided to present you the "Step by Step" Contour Kit Smashbox !
The principle is simple: define and refine his face in a few simple steps. In this kit there is therefore compact and easy to transport pallet containing a mirror, a small explanatory guide and 3 powders.The brand will also slipped a little explanatory guide and a paintbrush:
Unlike many brushes supplied in such kits are usually hyper rough and we tend to leave them in a corner and forget them forever. First nice surprise: this brush is super soft and therefore no specific risk to miss when applying powder!
Speaking of powders those proposed here (one kit is so this is shades "universal")
I think this kit may be suitable for very light skin / medium. If you have a fairly dark complexion or if you have dark skin, of course, I invite you to pass your turn (it is a pity that the brand has not declined this kit for clear skin / medium / dark) .
On the mirror of the pallet, the brand has slipped a little reminder of the use of these three shades:
The one that I like most and for which I had a real crush on the hue "mole" used to "dig" the cheeks. It can also be used to refine the nose but I must admit that this is a step that does not please me that remains very difficult and laptop every day so I prefer to spend my turn. To set the cheeks, it is ideal because it is a true taupe / brown which has no sub-orange tone. I confess that for me, this kit worth visiting just for this color because when fair skin, it is not easy to find a suitable reference.
Then there is the "bronze" color which is used to warm the complexion. For very fair skin like me, this color is orange chouilla but I still managed to get out. To be quite honest, I do not use it every day as warm / tan my skin is not my delirium, I take my white skin and I like it!
Finally, so that we have the highlighter meanwhile was a bit disappointed: for me it is not a color but a simple illuminating powder. I swear by the highlighter bright and satin while there, it is just the opposite. On my very fair skin, it is barely noticeable so I rather use it to improve degraded in the palm of my eyelid.
One thing is certain: the powders are top because they fade easily, are not dividing and can easily be used by beginners. Their dress is very good and they are not too "powdery" in contrast, their finish is very smooth!

Overall I am a little mixed compared to this kit: I love the brush and hue mole, the bronzer rarely serve me and I would have preferred a shimmering highlighter. However, it's still a very good kit, complete and ideal for everyday use. I've been using it daily through this beautiful contouring shade that is extremely successful but I let you judge whether this kit should you!
