I realized fairly recently that I very rarely spoke to you about makeup products sold in pharmacies.There is a fairly obvious explanation: When I buy cosmetics, I head mainly to perfumeries, supermarkets or so, I do my online shopping. I rarely happens in pharmacies and when it does, it is often before or after work, in 2 minutes flat. I never really focused me on the offer because I find my happiness elsewhere! It is true that I have sensitive skin and prone to redness but with luck, the products I use everyday have never caused me particularly unpleasant reaction. However, I know some of you have confidence in more natural products or just more respectful of sensitive skin and that is why today I propose a magazine specially dedicated to my discovery of makeup La Roche Posay!
I recently received from the brand a small pouch "discovery" containing certain essential references in their make-up range, specifically dedicated to sensitive skin. As you can see, La Roche Posay offers a complete range for the complexion, eyes, lips and pioneered the "no preservatives" with its range Toleriane Teint but also ensures its formulas remove all potentially allergenic ingredients. In brand products, there are no no perfume, no parabens and a high tolerance formulation, non-comedogenic.Let's start with the foundation Tolériane (~ € 20):
This is the water of moisturizing cream foundation base: it comes in a fairly standard 30ml tube and has an SPF of 20.
I received the 01 Ivory color, the lighter.
The latter is a bit yellow but once worked on the skin, it suits me rather me!
In the photos you will see in my article, I added a drop of foundation Match Perfection 010 Rimmel because it has a little pink sub-tones and it allows me to get the perfect shade for my skin tone.
I find the texture easy to spread, pigmented and yet his report on the skin is very natural. It camouflages redness correctly even if my I like to spend a little bit of concealer at the areas that I find too marked. It is suitable for normal to dry skin but I advise you not too much powder as it has a tendency to dry out much more quickly as well and could eventually mark the drought areas. One thing is certain: he does not feel on the skin and, of course, no reaction (tightness, discomfort, redness or tenderness extra) note!
Now to blush in the same range that I received in color 02 - Rose Gold (22 € 40):
I think that this is one of my greatest discoveries of the range not only its color is gorgeous but the more I find her particularly attractive finish. It is slightly satin, leaves the skin a "healthy" effect, radiant and does not contain flakes thus remains very natural. To touch, we feel that the pigments are very fine and velvety texture is:
This pink / beige fishing slightly to define the cheeks in a wink and holds very well. I think it is ideal for very clear and fair skin. If you have skin matte or dark, it may be necessary to opt for shade Soft Caramel Bronze or Copper
Only negative point for this blush: its packaging is extremely fragile. It will certainly not drop it because the "clip" opening can quickly break and then it will be impossible to close it again: I speak from experience!
I think one of the most sensitive areas of the face, it's definitely that of the eye and eyelids. As I explained to you, the brand also offers pallets specially dedicated to eye makeup in which we find a base and two shades:
The first pallet more "neutral" is the 02 - Smoky Brown and then comes the 04 - Smoky Plum (~ € 15 chacunes):
I was very pleasantly surprised by the base eye that allows to unify and better keep shadows. It is unfortunately a little too dark for me and do not blend well with my skin, it's a shame but we must emphasize that I have very fair skin.
The shadows themselves are velvety pigmentation but is not exceptional: it is true that when compared with other specialist brands in cosmetics eyeshadows (Urban Decay, Too Faced etc), the rendering does is not the same. Here, the record is still more natural, easy to wear everyday. I honestly do not think I would recommend unless of course if you are looking for a hypoallergenic option other cosmetics irritate you around the eye.
As you may already know, I love my eyeliner is as clear and precise as possible. To do so, I still use my eyeliner felt Paul & Joe with my liquid eyeliner Couleur Caramel. Respectissime The La Roche Posay has failed to dethrone him because of his tip but still very good:
It is highly pigmented, its finish is matte and holds very well (but not resistant to high humidity or tears)! Its tip is "foam" and easily manipulated but felt applied previously, perhaps it will be more difficult to achieve a precise point with a brush tip.
Anyway, I really like the record!
Mascara (€ 17) is also successful: his brush catches well eyelashes, separates and lengthens:
Its texture may be too dry chouilla (matter can accumulate on the tip of the lashes if you multiply layers) but I find the rendering still satisfactory and so it is a very good option for those sensitive eyes and for contact lens wearers! I am one and I noticed that my eyes tingled least the morning after applying this mascara while sometimes they tend to react badly and blush easily!
I close with the duo Novalips (€ 16.60) I had already had the opportunity to test two years ago but in a tone that was me rather difficult to wear because it was a coral enough pep. I received 4 shades and I had a real crush on one of them!
These lipsticks are in fact products two-in-one which also play the role of care. As you can see from my picture above, they have a "heart care" rich LHA, glycerin and D-panthenol (vitamin B5) to color your lips while nourishing and smoothing.
Their pigmentation is impeccable, their ultra rapid application and they do not "drool". Their major positives: their comfort and outfit!
Here are 4 colors of the range: No. 66, No. 191, No. 35 and No. 198:

No. 191 with a red poppy in orange tones:
No. 35 has in turn a bright satin finish, it is a raspberry pink.
Finally, not surprisingly, my favorite, it is obviously him No. 198! A superb raspberry plum I find sublime!
Overall, I am satisfied with the brand of makeup! If you had not choose only one, I would say without hesitation Novalips Duo No. 198 but there still are other nice references to discover in the various ranges for the complexion, eyes and lips . I had no reaction following the use of these products so the bet was held! Only small downside for me: the price of some products. € 22.40 blush or mascara € 17 for pharmacies products not given. It is nonetheless important to stress that the quality is at the rendezvous so after, you be the judge if you prefer to adopt the more expensive hypoallergenic makeup or you stick to the formulations less "clean" products perfumeries and drugstore. For my part, I have always been convinced that there is good and bad in all the rays, no matter where you used to make your beauty shopping .
