BERRY CHEEK PALETTE SIGNÉE BOBBI BROWN

berry cheek palette bobbi brown
Bobbi Brown is really a brand that I really enjoy and I learn little by little to discover. At the moment, very nice news are proposed I told myself I was going to start by introducing the Berry Cheek Palette even if other products will follow definitely! As I outlined in my favorites of April and it is high time to focus a bit more on his case😉
These blushes pallets are available exclusively on the e-shop of the brand and I think it is a very nice novelty since it is a pretty trios with shades of blushes in full-size. 3 palettes are available and there are two blushes and color the mark described as a "highlighter" even though I consider that this is a very iridescent blush. 3 harmonies so that everyone can find colors appropriate to its complexion:
- Pink: all about pink (Pale Pink, and Pink Highlight Powder Pink)
- Calypso all about coral (with blushes Pretty Coral, Calypso and Highligth Coral Sugar)
- Berry: all about plum (Plum with blushes, Highlight and French Pink Berry)

As I was saying a little earlier, I present the second harmony Berry!

The packaging is fairly standard as is a black compact with a large mirror and in which the three blushes were elongated (compared to the size usual square ):
A blush Bobbi Brown is usually sold € 29 50: this palette contains three and is priced at € 50. So this is a very good deal if you want to discover the blushes of the mark or if the proposed harmonies you like! I find that Berry Cheek Palette is particularly original because it contains two shades that I did not have in my collection.

Here are swatches of these 3 shades - Plum, Berry and French Pink Highlight:

Plum is a pretty plum / raspberry, Berry highlight a pink gold (! Passion pink gold right now) with orange tones and under-French Pink a pretty pink tangy.
As you can see, these powders are ultraaaaa pigmented. You almost feel like drawing the #trucdefou hashtag.
In the first application, it surprises.
The material is taken cheerfully, it is deposited on the cheek and it was nice to try to fade the material with his brush, it looks like nothing.
I had never seen such a pigmentation for blushes before. The little trick: we must "caress" the blush with his brush to collect a small amount of product. When in doubt, it blurs the excess pigment on the back of his hand and then passes the application.
Once we understand this, the application runs smoothly and the holding is really on top. In the photo below I wear the hue French Pink and a touch of Berry Highlight for rendering slightly satiny.

One can also deflect this pretty light shade (Berry highlight) in eye shadow and rendering is really superb!

So I love this palette which I find really beautiful. I do not recommend for beginners because as I explained, the application can prove to be quite difficult but we understand pretty quickly how to tame the blushes: to have a light hand is the golden rule!
